Lake Eucha History
Eucha Dam was completed in 1952, creating a lake with a surface area of 2,880 acres and a 50 mile long shoreline. The lake is less than a mile wide and 8.5 miles long.
Eucha serves as a hydrological and environmental buffer to Lake Spavinaw. The stream that connects the two lakes flows through a protected Scenics Rivers area.
There are scenic campsites with electricity, picnic areas, group shelters, playgrounds, nature trail, fishing docks, concessions, a marina, hunting during seasons.
