This huge, beautiful lake is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the Southwest. It's famous for its great fishing, excellent marinas and resorts, its natural beauty and lively nightlife.

Lake Texoma State Park is located near the Red River, the Texas/Oklahoma border. There are hunting areas but different hunting and fishing licenses are required for the different Texas/Oklahoma sections. However a special fishing license is available if you just want to fish on the lake.
 Lake Texoma is 89,000 acres (at normal level) and has 580 miles of shoreline and is the #1 Striper Bass fishery in the nation.
The State Park has a great golf course, paddle boats, and other fun stuff. Check out the nature center for a look at some wildlife. A great family getaway.
Lake Texoma ia maintained by the Army Corp of Engineers and is an incredibly popular spot for fisherman, boaters, and campers. Texoma is located near the Red River, on the Texas/Oklahoma border.

Lake Texoma is Oklahoma's second largest lake, and one of the premier striped bass hot spots in the Southwest. Besides fishing, the park offers swimming, camping, picnic areas, horseback riding, trail rides, tennis, hiking, nature programs, indoor fitness and recreation programs. Golfers can choose between two 18-hole courses complete with driving range, putting greens, club rentals and pro shop. Swimmers can choose from beach swimming or an outdoor pool.
Other facilities near Lake Texoma State Park include RV and tent sites, comfort stations with showers, public laundry, boat ramps, playgrounds, tennis courts, hiking trails, riding stables, full service marina and striper guide fishing services.
