Blue River – 2/13 – Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 47°F and stained. Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, spoons, and worms around brush structure, channels, creek channels, river channel, and rocks. Broken Bow Lake – 2/10 – Elevation is 4 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 51°F and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, flukes, plastic baits, and spoons around brush structure, creek channels, main lake, points, river channel, and standing timber. Lake Eufaula – 2/29 – D and K Guide Service reports excellent crappie fishing and daily limits being caught including a few hitting the Century Club. Dusty says are stacking up near their spawning groups in 12 feet of water. Wild Bill’s Fishing Adventures Guide Service reports limits of suspended quality crappie being caught in 10 to 12 feet of water on baby shad profile baits. Larry’s Outdoor Adventure Guide Service reports excellent crappie fishing in off of structure using hair jigs. Elevation is .5 ft. below normal and rising, water temperature 39°F and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on chicken liver, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, lipless baits, minnows, and plastic baits around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, riprap, and rocks. Lake Fort Gibson – 2/11 – Elevation is 2.5 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 46°F and murky. Blue catfish good on cut bait and shad around channels, main lake, and points. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Paddlefish good snagging below the dam, channels, and main lake. Lake Greenleaf – 2/10 – Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 43°F and clear. Lake Hugo – 2/2 – Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 41°F and murky. Lower Illinois River – 2/11 – Thomas Guide Service reports excellent striper action right now with a client hauling in a 33 pound monster!! Elevation is 9 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 43°F and clear. Rainbow trout slow on in-line spinnerbaits and PowerBait below the dam. Comments: Best area is below the dam. Lake Kaw – 2/4 – Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 40°F and stained. Striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, hair jigs, jigs, and sassy shad below the dam, points, and riprap. Paddlefish good snagging below the dam and main lake. Robert S. Kerr Lake – 2/9 – Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 48°F and murky. Lake Keystone – 2/25 – Larry’s Hook, Line & Sinker Guide Service reports excellent action for blue catfish right now in down about 40 feet using live bait. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 44°F and murky. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around docks. Lake Konawa – 2/11 – Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 46°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and plastic baits around main lake, points, river mouth, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on Alabama rigs and crankbaits around coves, discharge, main lake, and river channel. Lake McGee Creek – 2/9 – Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 43°F and stained. White bass good on bill baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, and small lures around main lake, points, sandbar, other. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around channels, main lake, points, and standing timber. Lake Skiatook – 2/25 – Larry’s Hook, Line & Sinker Guide Service reports excellent hybrid bass, sand bass (white bass) and catfish fishing happening right now. Clients are catching big ones and most fish being caught are 20″+ in length. Elevation is 6 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 80°F and clear. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on cut bait, live shad, and shad around main lake. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure, creek channels, and standing timber. Lake Tenkiller – 2/28 – Thomas Guide Service reports excellent white bass action up in the river channel where the water is about 10 degrees warmer. Lake Texoma – 2/11 – Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 50°F and stained. Striped bass fair on flukes, live shad, and sassy shad around channels, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live shad, and punch bait around channels, coves, docks, and river channel. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around brush structure, coves, docks, points, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been good, except for the last part of the week was tough. Striper are biting on sassy shad trolling and throwing around structure.
