LAKE AREA INFORMATION

Lake Stanley Draper is located just southeast of Oklahoma City. The off-road vehicle area is on the north side of the lake just off I-240, the unloading area is just a mile from the marina on the northwest side.

Over 85 miles of trails snake through the woods and around the lake. Terrain is that lovely Oklahoma red dirt with a bit of sand. Elevation changes are moderate, although several intersting creek crossings were found in a short time.

Services include four covered fishing piers, boat ramps, tending docks, handicap facilities and fish attractors. Covered wet slips and dry storage areas can be rented at the Draper concession building near the marina. Picnicking, fishing, jetskiing, boating and sailing are all permitted. Skiing is allowed in open waters. Swimming is prohibited.

NOTE: Oklahoma City requires additional fishing & boating permits on Lake Stanley Draper along with a state permit.

MAPS & DIRECTIONS

Directions: From Oklahoma City, take 1-240 east from I-35 approx 8 miles to the Douglas Exit. Proceed North 1/4 mile to SW 74th. Go East on SW 74th 1 mile to Post Rd. Turn South and go approx. 1 mile. Look for the gravel parking area on the east side (it’s a little hard to see) Park there.
